Status of Our Site's Response to the PHP Vulnerabilities
Security updates addressing two critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618, CVE-2026-109619) in the PHP programming language provided by The PHP Group have been released.
After re-evaluating the necessity of maintaining PHP on this site, we decided to remove the unnecessary dependency altogether rather than update and continue using it.
As a result, we decided to delete the blog. However, feeling that the empty space in the navigation bar looked noticeable, we ended up rebuilding a new blog from scratch.
And right now, I am writing about that whole sequence of events in this very blog post.
Please note that all other features remain available as before.

I wrote a fable collection
Today, after a little over half a year of writing, I finally completed a book.
It is a collection of 50 short fables.

I wrote a book
Today, after half a year of writing, I have finally completed a book.
A book of philosophy? Essays? I am not entirely sure how to classify it, but perhaps it could be described as a record of philosophical dialogues.

I turned a past work into a WordPress plugin
Recently, while studying architecture, I have been developing a medium-scale system.
In architecture, I am learning general knowledge ranging from excavation to traditional timber framing methods, as well as some legal aspects.
As a side note, I turned a chatbot UI I previously created into a WordPress plugin.

I built a ramen restaurant website
Since I don't have much experience with food and beverage industry projects, I created a mock website for a ramen shop.
I designed it directly in code using Nuxt 3 and implemented it including the front end.
I don't look at ramen shop websites very often, but I saw one that featured a noren effect and thought it looked interesting, so I tried making one.
Once I implemented it, though, it felt too annoying to use, so I scrapped it.

Playing around with Python
I haven't had many opportunities to use Python for web development, so I used it as a learning project.
Since building a large-scale system takes too much time, I decided to create a memo app, which is useful for starting out.
It features user registration, memo creation, tagging, and a search function.
The backend uses Python, the frontend uses Nuxt 3, and the database is MySQL.
I used Flask to create the endpoints and somewhat casually added full-text search with SQLAlchemy.
User registration includes password authentication and email verification.

Growing Shiitake Mushrooms in 3D
How should you model in Blender when exporting for the web?
I conducted an experiment for learning purposes to see how to smoothly integrate models into code.
This time, I chose a relatively simple subject: mushrooms.
Although I only exported the shiitake mushroom, I had enough extra energy to create things like a plate as well.
The website was built using Vite + Vue / Three.js.

Notice of Server Migration
We have changed the server for this website.
Over time, this site has migrated across servers from FC2 to Lolipop! to Sakura VPS, and has now moved to ConoHa VPS.
Personally, I am quite satisfied with the change.
